The invention relates to a tool for fitting and removing pinning clamps for metal sheets or the like. The tool includes: - a stationary cylindrical sleeve 3 capable of interacting with the body 2B of the said clamp 2 by immobilising it in terms of rotation; - a sleeve tube 4 inserted rotationally into the said sleeve, one end face 4B of which facing the said clamp has a first recess 4C corresponding substantially to the operating head 2A of the movable mechanism of the clamp; - a socket 5 housed in the sleeve tube 4 coming into abutment via one of its end faces 5A against that 4B of the said sleeve tube, said face 5A of the socket having a second recess 5C in which the operating head 2A of the said mechanism may be received; and - a drive shaft 6 rotationally connected to the said sleeve tube 4 and capable of imparting a rotational movement to the socket 5 via coupling means 10 with an angular offset. <IMAGE>
