PURPOSE:To obtain the title lubricant capable of improving the sewability of machine sewing polyester spun yarn when applied thereon by incorporating a dimethylpolysiloxane with, using a specific hydrocarbon as medium, an antistatic modified silicone. CONSTITUTION:The objective antistatic silicone oil can be obtained by incorporating (A) a known dimethylpolysiloxane with, using an isoparaffin-based hydrocarbon (e.g. diisopropanol) as medium, (B) an antistatic modified silicone such as a polyoxyalkylene modified dimethylsilicone. This silicone oil, when applied on machine sewing polyester spun yarn, will give excellent sewability without causing yarn breakages (even if used in a highspeed sewing machine). |
