The housing 6 of a unit for composing a confidential code internally houses a printed circuit whose upper surface carries a keyboard 2 and a display 3, while the underside accommodates a protected module, linked especially to the keyboard, and suitable for verifying the code or to transmit it in enciphered form, with the aid of secret data kept in backed-up random-access memory 18. The microswitches 5 are placed inside the housing 6 so as to remain closed when the two parts of this housing are joined together. The inside of the housing is traversed by a conducting wire 4. The power supply circuit to the backed-up random-access memory 18 passes through the microswitches 5 and this conducting wire 4. <IMAGE> |
