RD-19247 METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF ARYLOXYTRIAZINE-CAPPED POLYPHENYLENE ETHERS Aryloxytriazine-capped polyphenylene ethers are prepared by reaction of a polyphenylene ether with an aryl cyanurate. The products undergo reaction with amine-ter-minated polymers such as polyamides, to form compositions which have excellent properties and which find utility as molding compositions and as compatibilizers for blends of similar polymers.
