PURPOSE:To obtain a high-strength hydroxyapatite hardening material by constituting the hardening material of both powdery component consisting of tetracalcium phosphate and calcium phosphate having by atom specified Ca/P and liquid component made of a colloidal aq. soln. CONSTITUTION:Calcium phosphate having by atom C/P less than 1.67 is blended with tetracalcium phosphate so that C/P is regulated to about 1.3-1.8. These are utilized as powder less than about 50mum. These are mixed to obtain powdery component and a hardening material is constituted by furthermore utilizing a colloidal aq. soln. as liquid component. As this colloid, inorganic colloid such as colloidal silica or organic colloid such as polymethyl methacrylate is utilized. About 10-60wt.% aq. soln. is preferably utilized. The hardening material which is enhanced in dynamical strength and preferable for dental restoring material is obtained by kneading the powdery component and the liquid component at the rate of about 0.5-5. |
