<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the drive section of a tray transfer mechanism and to miniaturize the tray transfer mechanism by transferring a tray holding a tape cassette in response to a holder member. CONSTITUTION:A cassette loading device contains a double speed mechanism which is actuate in a horizontal transfer section set on a line extended from a cassette inserting position controlled by a tray 15, doubles the transfer speeds of holder members 13 and 14 which undergo the drive-control via a tray transfer mechanism 12 to send these holder members to the tray 15, and is switched to an inactive state in a vertical transfer section at a tape driving position from the extended line set at the cassette inserting position controlled by the tray 15. Then the transfer speed is doubled in a horizontal transfer section of the tray 15, and the tray 15 is transferred in response to the members 13 and 14 in the vertical transfer section. In such a constitution, the drive section of the mechanism 12 which controls the transfer of the tray 15 is shortened and the mechanism 12 is miniaturized.</p> |
