PURPOSE:To obtain a cured product with low internal stress, high toughness, high elongation, high strength, high elastic modulus and low water absorption by compounding a thermosetting resin, a curing agent and a specified thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. is obtd. by compounding a thermosetting resin (A) selected from epoxy resins, maleimide resins, triazine resins, polyimide resins and phenol resins, a curing agent (B) for the component A selected from amine curing agents, acid anhydride curing agents, dicyandiamide, etc., when the component is an epoxy resin and a thermoplastic resin (C) which is pref. a polyimide, a polyamide or a polyether with a chain consisting of a siloxane skeleton and a block or a graft copolymer consisting of a compatible chain and an incompatible chain with the component A or B. A cured product of the resin wherein a phase having mainly the component C exists separately from a phase having the components A and B and both separated phases exhibit each a three-dimensionally continuous structure and the phase having mainly the component C has a silicon element with a higher concn. than the other phase is obtd. by curing this compsn.
