PURPOSE:To improve economical efficiency and general purpose properties by a method wherein by movably mounting an ultrasonic probe and an ultrasonic probe holder, when damage occurs to either of them, or when the ultrasonic probe is replaced with an ultrasonic probe having different performance, only a necessary part is exchanged. CONSTITUTION:A holder body 17 is connected to a flexible shaft 11 through a spacer 18. A guide 20 used when an ultrasonic probe 12 is mounted is mounted to the inside of a holding part 19 and an electrode 21 connected to a coaxial cable 15 is provided. When the ultrasonic probe 12 is mounted to an ultrasonic probe holder, by pressing the ultrasonic probe in the holding part 19 of a holder body 17, the holding part 19 is resiliently deformed by means of a slit 22. Simultaneously, the guide 20 is guided in a state to be engaged with a guide groove 28 of the ultrasonic probe, easy and proper mounting is effected, and an electrode 24 of the ultrasonic probe is brought into firm contact to the electrode 21 of the ultrasonic probe holder. In this case, since the two electrodes are joined together in any position in the circumferential direction of the ultrasonic probe, there is no problem on an electric continuity state after mounting. |
