PURPOSE:To produce an Fe-Cr-Co type magnet alloy having superior castability by blending specified percentages of Fe, Cr, Co, Al, P, misch metal consisting of light rare earth metals, Nb, Zr, Ti and Mn. CONSTITUTION:A magnet alloy consisting of, by weight, 17-30% Cr, 4-27% Co, 0.4-2% Al, 0.05-0.4% P, <=0.4% misch metal consisting of light rare earth metals, <=0.4% one or more among Nb, Zr, Ti and Mn and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities is prepd. The magnet alloy improving casting defects such as misrun, sand inclusion and a rough casting surface is produced in a high yield and succeeding finishing by grinding can be omitted. |
