PURPOSE:To permit a device to accept a sheet which is not necessarily brought face to face with the shutter controlling the tip end of the sheet, enhancing freedom in loading by using a carriage unit equipped with carriage rollers as a means for carrying/delivering the sheet to an intermediate tray, thereby changing the delivery position of the sheet in response to the size of the sheet. CONSTITUTION:When a sheet S large in size is carried/delivered, after the sheet S has been carried to the midway above a sheet housing means 183 by the first carriage unit 1, it is delivered. When the sheet S small in size is carried/delivered, the sheet S is delivered from the first carriage unit 1 to the second carriage unit 2, then, the sheet S is delivered out of the position close to the stopper 40 of the sheet housing means 183 by the second carriage 2. |
