<p>A process for preparing 2,3,4,6-tetrachloropyridine is disclosed which comprises chlorinating 2,6-dichloro-4-trichloromethylpyridine, preferably in the presence of a catalyst, to form 2,3,6-trichloro-4-trichloromethylpyridine which is then reacted with chlorine gas, in the absence of a catalyst, to form the desired product.</p> |
