<p>PURPOSE: To obtain an arbitration controller which can be used in an asynchronous microprocessor by not excluding any microprocessor for a prescribed limited time or longer to alternately access a common memory. CONSTITUTION: An arbitrator 13 is provided with a connection means which selectively connects microprocessors 10 and 11 to a common memory 14, a clock means which determines a prescribed time to keep the connection means at the time when both of microprocessors 10 and 11 request the access to the common memory 14, and control circuit means which are connected to microprocessors 10 and 11 respectively and one of which causes an interrupt at the time of connection of the other for access to the common memory 14. Thus, the common memory 14 is effectively used by the main microprocessor 10 and the task microprocessor 12, and any microprocessor is prevented from being not able to access the common memory for a long time.</p> |
