PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition which can give a molding having high impact resistance and excellent heat distortion resistance by mixing an aromatic polyester with a modified polyolefin and a polyamide. CONSTITUTION:This composition is prepared by melt-mixing a melt comprising 20-80 pts.wt. aromatic polyester and 1-30 pts.wt. modified polyolefin with 20-80 pts.wt. polyamide (provided that the total of these three components is 100 pts.wt.). As the above aromatic polyester, one prepared from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid or its derivative and a bisphenol or its derivative of formula I is desirable. In formula I, -X- is -O-, -S-, -SO2-, -CO-, an alkylene or an alkylidene; R<1> to R<8> are independent of each other and each a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a hydrocarbon group. The above modified polyolefin includes an acid anhydride-containing olefin copolymer or an epoxy olefin copolymer. |
