PURPOSE:To simultaneously measure saturation of blood oxygen and the blood pressure value of an arterial and an intravenous system by providing a detector for a quantity of light, having different wavelengths, passing a body to be inspected, a pressurizing means to exert a cuff pressure, and a computing means to input a pulse wave component, a absorbance, a change absorbance, and a pressure signal to perform given computation. CONSTITUTION:A quantity of first and second transmission light emitted from light sources 1 and 2, generating first and second light (lambda1 and lambda2) having different wavelengths from each other, and transmitting a body 8 to be inspected is detected by a photo detector 6, and a cuff pressure is exerted on the body 8 to be inspected by a pressurizing means 5. A pulse wave component signal is separated away from detected first and second transmission light amount signal by means of high-pass filters 21 and 22. An absorbance signal is obtained by logarithmic circuits 25 and 26 and an absorbance change signal by highpass filters 23 and 24, and a cuffpressure is detected by a pressure detecting means 15. Further, from an absorbance signal and an absorbance change signal, a computing means 28 calculates absorbance regarding first and second light in a way that artery is separated sway from vein based on the change in a state of a blood tube occasioned by a cuff pressure, and determines the degree of saturation of blood oxygen and determines a blood pressure value from the change in amplitude of a pulse wave component signal and a pressure signal. |
