<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize an operation member for variable speed reproducing at low cost and to obtain the magnetic recording and reproducing device of exellent operability by using a push button as the operation member and providing a means for detecting pressure given to the push button and a means for setting a tape speed in accordance with the detected pressure. CONSTITUTION:When the variable speed reproducing button 1 is pressed, this pressure P is detected by a pressure / electric signal transducer element 2, and the rotating speed of a tape driving motor 4 is controlled by a motor speed control circuit 3 in accordance with this detected pressure. When the variable speed reproducing button 1 is not given any pressure, and hence no pressure is detected by the pressure / electric signal transducer element 2, the tape driving motor 4 is controlled by the motor speed control circuit 3 in order to make a magnetic tape travel at the same traveling speed as in the case of recording. By this method, the operation member 1 for variable speed reproducing can be miniaturized reducing its cost, and the operability for reproducing can be promoted.</p> |
