PURPOSE:To eliminate the occurrence of the error of painting out in easy processing at a starting point by selecting whether the first image element is plotted or not based on the relation of the position of the first image element to the position of the following image element and the relation of the position of the final image element on an outline to the position of the previous image element. CONSTITUTION:After successively forming the outline without plotting the first image element A on the outline which is formed when the outline is formed from an outline vector with scanning in an X axis direction, it is selected whether the first image element A is plotted or not based on the relation of the position of the first image element A to the position of the following image element and the relation of the position of the final image element A on the outline to the position of the previous image element. On the other hand, in the case of selecting to plot the first image element A, it is selected whether the image element positioned after shifting from the first image element A by 1 dot in the X axis direction is plotted or not. Thus, the starting point A is optionally selected and also the occurrence of the error of painting out can be prevented. |
