PURPOSE:To improve productivity and to obtain more speedy corresponding ability by preparing an optimum bit even when the speed of beam deflection by a deflector is not set high. CONSTITUTION:Light emitted from a laser beam source 14 is splitted to two beams such as the first beam B1 and the second beam B2 by an optical path splitting member 15. Operation timing is matched for the first modulator 18 for bit formation and a deflector 19 and in one position deviated from the center of a track in the master disk of an optical disk, a pit for track position detection is formed by using the first beam B1. The operation timing is matched for the second modulator 21 for pit formation and the deflector 19 and in the other position deviated from the center of the track, a pit for track position detection is formed by using the second beam. Thus, since the productivity can be improved and the twisting angle of the beam can be more reduced, the more speedy corresponding ability can be obtained. |
