PURPOSE:To synchronize a voice with the motion of a person's mouth by providing a multiframe number generating part and a delay time detecting part on the transmission side and the reception side respectively and detecting the delay time difference between first and second lines by the delay time detecting part to determine the delay time of the voice to a picture. CONSTITUTION:The multiframe number generating part adds numbers '0' and '1' to multiframes of the voice and adds numbers '0', '1', '2', '3', and '4' to multiframes of the picture. A frame delay time detecting part 10 calculates the delay time difference between both frames in accordance with the frame number and the multiframe number of the voice and those of the picture. When the line speed is 64kbps, the delay time difference of 64ms exists in case of +1 because multiframe data of one picture is 4096 bits, and an adaptive voice delay extent setting part 11 outputs the extent of delay corresponding to this delay time difference. |
