PURPOSE:To obtain excellent reproducibility for any listener by switching the output sound pressure levels of rear speakers and right and left front speakers to values suitable for a listener on a front or rear seat in a room. CONSTITUTION:A listener 70 who sits on a front seat in the room 4 and a listener 71 who sits on a rear seat are different in distance to speakers arranged at respective positions in the room, and the sound pressure levels from the respective speakers SP1-SP6 and the times of acoustic propagation from the respective speakers are different. Therefore, the listening position of an object listener is switched by an input means such as a push button switch for sound field control. The output sound pressure levels of the rear speakers SP5 and SP6 and left and right front speakers SP1 and SP2 are set selectively by a switching means 52 to values suitable for the listener 70 sitting on the front seat in the room 4. Consequently, the excellent feeling of spreading, etc., is reproduced for the listener 70 on the front seat and the listener 71 on the rear seat. |
