PURPOSE:To facilitate transport and enhance circular accuracy by forming a rolling bearing with circumferentially divided bearing segments with the butting ends of the segments provided with positioning projections and recesses. CONSTITUTION:A rolling bearing 1 is formed with a plurality of bearing segments 2. A projection 24 of an inner ring segment 3 is made to engage with a recess 25 of a neighboring inner ring segment 3. A projection 27 of an outer ring segment 4 is made to engage with a recess 28 of a neighboring outer ring segment 4. Butting surfaces 23 and butting surfaces 26 are mated to each other. In this way, transport is extremely facilitated and the circular accuracy is enhanced. |
