PURPOSE:To perform equalization processing without letting plural equalizers to affect other equalizers by generating an impulse signal (VIT signal) newly halfway in transmission and performing replacement. CONSTITUTION:When the side of an MUSE signal generation source 18 is selected with a switch S1, an equalizer 22 equalizes transmission distortion which is caused by a transmission line 24 and an equalizer 44 equalizes transmission distortion which is caused by a transmission line 42. For the purpose, the switch S2 of an FM mode-AM mode converter 10 is connected to the side of a VIT signal generating circuit 36 and the new VIT signal is inserted into an MUSE signal of AN mode and outputted. Thus, the VIT signal is replaced with the new VIT signal (distortionless VIT signal) to divide transmission lines (equalized transmission line path) which can be equalized by one equalizer and performing the equalization by the equalizers 22 and 44 of the respective equalized transmission lines. |
