PURPOSE:To plot a curve independently of the sort of the curve by storing the curve plotted by a curve plotting means and displaying the stored curve on a display device. CONSTITUTION:The coordinate values (X1, Y1), (X2, Y2) of the start and end points to be plotted of a previously determined one-valued curve f = 0 are inputted from an input device 1 and a curve is plotted by the curve plotting means 2 for determining which is to be selected, the candidate of a pixel to be painted out next shown in Table I when x1<=x2 or a candidate of the pixel shown in Table II when x1<=x2 in accordance with the code of a value f(x, y) in respective midpoints shown in Table III of respective representative points (x1, y1) to (x5, y5) and reclusively using a plotting method from the inputted start point up to its end point to plot a curve. The curve plotted by the means 2 is stored in a storage device 3 and displayed on a display device 4. |
