<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the mutual separation of steel sheet piles by preventing the turning of the sheet piles by making the spherical and claw portions located on the corners of steel sheet pile for corners and also the spherical and claw portions of the straight-line portion of the steel sheet pile asymmetrical bilaterally. CONSTITUTION:A steel sheet pile for corners consists of a web 5, flanges 6, a spherical portion 7 for corner side, a bosom portion 8, a claw 9 for preventing separation, a spherical portion 10 on the extended slope side, and a bosom portion 11 and a claw 12 on the extended slope side. A coupler B on the corner side of the steel sheet pile for corner is made up of the spherical portion 7 and the claw 9 and serves to prevent turning of the steel sheet pile for corners when driving the sheet pile. The coupler C on the straight-line side of the steel sheet pile for corner is made up of the spherical portion 10 and the claw 12 and serves to prevent the turning of the sheet pile for corner when driving it to the other steel sheet pile coupler. By making the corner side coupler B and the straight line side coupler C of the sheet pile for corner bilaterally asymmetrical, the turning and separation of the sheet piles can be prevented.</p> |
