PURPOSE:To easily and properly perform close-up photographing by receiving a signal which indicates the size of an object and selecting a lens focal length corresponding to this signal from a storage means to perform the zoom control. CONSTITUTION:Correspondence relations between document sizes and lens focal lengths suitable for them are preliminarily stored in an EEPROM 16a of a CPU 16. When the CPU 16 in a camera detects that a switch 5 switched in accordance with the size of a document is set to the position of A3 size and contacts 6-a and 6-b and terminals 12-a and 12-b are connected, focal length information corresponding to the document size signal is selected from the EEPROM 16a to control driving of a motor M2, and a photographic lens 11 is zoomed. Thus, close-up photographing is easily and properly performed. |
