PURPOSE:To make a fuel cell large by separately baking a solid electrolyte, an interconnector film, and a bar-shaped support, by assembling them, and by filling the space of the assembled body with at least one of fuel electrode slurry and an oxygen electrode slurry. CONSTITUTION:A solid electrolyte 1, an interconnector film 2, and a bar-shaped support 3 are separately baked, then they are assembled. The space of the assembled body is filled with at least one of fuel electrode slurry and an oxygen electrode slurry. Surface load applied to a fuel cell is supported by the support/ solid electrolyte film/support/interconnector film... and mechanical strength is stabilized. The fuel electrode slurry or the oxygen electrode slurry is used as the space filler to ensure mechanical strength and it is also functions as an electrical connector. A fuel cell can be made larger. |
