PURPOSE:To carry out insertion and pulling out with small force by moving a male housing inserted into a female housing transversely in parallel to the fitting surface by using a push lever and carrying to attachment and detachment of the female and male terminals. CONSTITUTION:A cam shaft 28 of a push level 26 is inserted into a cam hole 4 of a male-type housing 1b fitted to a hood of a female-type housing 13 and a taper plane P, Q in the insertion side of the declining part 28b pushes a sliding contact part and moves the male-type housing 1b transversely and brings an electric contact part of a female terminal 40 into contact with a tab part of a male terminal 32 electrically. When the cam shaft 28 is pulled out, taper plane P, Q in the pulling side of the declining part pushes the sliding contact part and moves the male-type housing 1b transversely in reverse direction and detach the female and male terminals 40, 32. By this method, insertion and pulling out female and male terminals are carried out with low power. |
