PURPOSE:To omit the printing attribute data stream of a program by symbolizing a printing attribute and generating a business data description file, generating a spool file therefrom, and generating the printing attribute data stream. CONSTITUTION:By a program 6 for designing a business form by a programmer, the business form is designed by a conversional format, and a business data description file 7 is outputted. In a program 8 for writing to a spool file 3A, the file 7 is read in, and a text designated by a programmer is inserted into a variable text area of a business form and written in the file 3A. The file 3A is managed by a management record 34, and actual business form printing data 35 is linked by a pointer. In a program 9 for printing the business form, business form printing data is read in from the file 3A, a symbolized printing attribute is analyzed, and it is converted to a printing attribute data stream corresponding to a printing device 5 and outputted to the device 5. In such a way, the business form designed by a programmer is printed. |
