STEERING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To facilitate manual steering, automatic steering and selection of these steerings, respectively, by applying a DD motor to a steering motor while always connecting an output shaft of this motor and a handle shaft respectively to a steering shaft. CONSTITUTION:A steering motor 30, consisting of a DD motor, is set up in the upper coaxially with a steering shaft 4 supported to a head pipe 3 of a vehicle, for instance, golf cart. The steering motor 30 is fixed by a bolt 32 to a bracket 31 of a car body frame 2, while an output shaft 33 of the motor is integrally molded with a boss 23 of he steering shaft 4. Further the steering shaft 4 and a handle shaft 17 are connected to each other through a link 26 or the like. Following rotation of the handle shaft 17, the steering shaft 4 and the output shaft 33 of the steering motor 30 are interlockingly rotated respectively. Now because the steering motor 30, being a DD motor, eliminates the necessity for a reduction gear, the output shaft 33 of the motor can be rotated by small torque.
