<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently proliferate the subject cell containing glycyrrhizin by using a culture medium containing Ni as a minor metal added to a basal culture medium containing sucrose, thiamine hydrochloride, pyridoxine hydrochloride, nicotinic acid, myo-inositol and glycine (Gly). CONSTITUTION:A licorice rhizomatic cell is cultured in a culture medium containing Ni as a minor metal added to a basal culture medium containing preferably 20000ppm sucrose, 0.1ppm thiamine hydrochloride, 0.1ppm pyridoxine hydrochloride, 0.5ppm nicotinic acid, 100ppm myo-inositol and 3ppm glycine. Furthermore, the amount of the Ni added to the culture medium is preferably 0.01 to 100ppm.</p> |
