PURPOSE:To carry out a variety of workings by always holding a handle part and a grip part by both hands, by installing a locking means for controlling the ON/OFF operations of a switch which is installed onto the handle part and operates through the holding and the release of the holding of the grip part of a tool body. CONSTITUTION:The handle part 6 of a tool body 1 is gripped by one hand. A grip part 7 is held by the other hand, and a locking means 11 is operated, accompanied with the holding. A switch 10 installed onto the handle part 5 is turned on when the locking means 11 operates, and a driving part built in the tool body 1 is started to carry out a variety of workings. Therefore, the functions as portable motor-driven tool such as portable circular saw can be developed sufficiently.
