PURPOSE:To obtain a piezoelectric porcelain composition which is provided with a good piezoelectric characteristic and which can be baked at a low temperature by a method wherein Pb(Ni1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3-PbZXrO3 is used as a basic composition and a composite oxide represented by a formula of Pb(Me1/2 W1/2)O3 (where Me represents Fe, Mg, Zn or Ni) is contained in the form of solid solution in it in a prescribed amount. CONSTITUTION:A composite oxide represented by a formula of Pb(Me1/2W1/2)O3 (where Me represents Fe, Mg, Zn or Ni) is added, at 0.2 to 10.0wt.%, to a main component represented by a formula of xPb(Ni1/3Nb2/3)O3-yPbZrO3 (where x, y, and z are mole ratios of individual components, satisfy x+y+z=1.00 and are provided with a composition ratio within a range surrounded by a polygon ABCDEF whose apexes are points A, B, C, D, E and F). |
