PURPOSE:To obtain a product having a feeling of transparency, high gloss and proper flexibility by impregnating a paste product of ground fish having a great number of small voids in the interior with a sugar solution such as MIRIN [sweet SAKE (rice wine)] and then drying. CONSTITUTION:A paste product (preferably paste product comprising a bonded material of a great number of fiber pieces arranged in parallel or one comprising a lamellar structure) of ground fish having a great number of small voids in the interior is impregnated with a sugar solution such as MIRIN and dried to give the objective paste product. In forming the lamellar structure having a great number of small voids in the interior of paste product of ground fish, preferably a formed product of ground fish is mildly frozen. |
