PURPOSE:To improve electrolyte leakage resistance by filling a dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene or the copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene in the groove of a gasket in which the open edge of a negative sealing plate is fitted. CONSTITUTION:A dispersion obtained by dispersing polytetrafluoroethylene powder or the copolymer powder of tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene in a mixed solvent of propylene carbonate and 1,2-dimethoxyethane which are organic solvents for a battery, having high volatility and no adverse effect on polypropylene and lithium, is poured in a goove 2 of a polypropylene gasket 1. A negative sealing plte 5 in the inner surface of which a lithium negative electrode 3 is pressed, is fitted in the groove 2 of the gasket 1. |
