Methods to produce compounds with enzyme affinity for the visual indication of cholesterol on the skin surface, the compounds being based on a detector agent A, which is an agent which confers affinity for cholesterol, and a visualising agent B; as detector agent A there are used steroid glycosides, triterpenic glycosides, hydrophobic proteins, protein toxins or polyenic antibiotics which are agents which confer affinity for cholesterol, and enzymes are used as visualising agent B; agents A and B are immobilised on a fixing agent C to increase the sensitivity of the compounds obtained; compounds of low molecular weight or of high molecular weight are used as agent C.
