The invention relates to a device allowing the comfortable use of two-wheeled motorised machines. It consists of a removable fairing produced from a transparent light-weight impact-resistant material which can quickly be fitted to the carrying vehicle by its user. Its installation, dictated when atmospheric conditions are unfavourable, is performed by a single person into the supports and anchorages reserved on the carrying bodywork. Its weight and dimensions allow it to be stored in the garage in good weather. Its use does not entail any modification in driving and road signals. The same is true of vision. The device according to the invention, particularly designed for urban driving dressed in townwear, retains all its advantages on road circuits. The objects transported, fixed to the luggage rack, are sheltered from bad weather; and from theft if the option of doors equipped with locks is adopted. <IMAGE>
