The present invention relates to a method for unblocking and mounting an assembly device comprising an expandable sleeve tube 3 and a tapered sleeve 4 which can be forcibly driven into the sleeve tube. According to the invention, this device includes a thrust cylinder 8-9 which can bear on the heads of locking screws 5, which have been partially unscrewed beforehand, and brought into contact with the element 9 of the thrust cylinder and in which the elements 8 and 9 include piercings 11 and 12 which have the same angular arrangement as the unblocking holes 13 of the sleeve 4, and spacers 14 with a threaded end which can be engaged in the said piercings 11 and 12 so that they can be screwed into the unblocking holes 13 in the sleeve, the other threaded end securing the outer element 8 of the thrust cylinder between the shoulder of the spacer 12 and the nut 15. <IMAGE>
