The tricycle has a front steering wheel in a pivoting fork, and two rear wheels, each attached to the chassis by a crank arm (5). The latter pivot at the sides of the front half of the chassis (1), and are coupled to a control mechanism. When one arm swings through an angle, the other arm swing through an equal angle of opposite sense. The mechanism pref. comprises a central pivoting yoke (9), coupled by guide bars (7) at its opposite ends to the respective crank arms. ADVANTAGE - Easy control, since centre of gravity does not shift sideways if one rear wheel strikes an obstruction.
