PURPOSE:To decide an optimum ampere-turn regarding a distant magnetic field by using the small number of magnetic detectors, i.e., at a low cost, by a method wherein a dislocation of a ship is utilized to put a data into use by using a position-measuring instrument such as a range finder or the like and an interpolation method is used. CONSTITUTION:A reference magnetic field and a coil effect are measured by using a plurality of magnetism detectors D which have been installed in a longitudinal direction of a ship at a distance far away from a moored ship 1, a pattern which makes a difference value minimum among patterns of individual ampere-turns of coil effect X initial value and coil effect X (initial value + or - step value) is extracted. When the pattern which makes the difference value minimum coincides with a renewed initial value, this pattern is decided as an optimum ampere-turn for a temporary coil. Residual magnetic fields with reference to a dislocation of the ship are found several times by using a position-measuring instrument; in addition, a waveform of the residual magnetic fields is found by means of an interpolation method from their measured values. When the waveform is smaller than a waveform of the residual magnetic field in an ampere-turn close to a temporary optimum ampere-turn, the temporary optimum ampere-turn is decided as the optimum ampere-turn. |
