PURPOSE:To obtain excellent hardness, strength and heat resistance by composing of combination of light permeable and nonpermeable zinc sulfide ceramics. CONSTITUTION:A dome to be mounted at the end of a high-speed flying object is composed, for example, in a whole of a hollow semispherical state, at approx. half of the semisphere of light permeable ZnS ceramics 1, and at the residual approx. halt of light nonpermeable ZnS ceramics 2. An infrared ray sensor 3 and a radio wave antenna 4 are disposed in the dome, and infrared light and radio wave can be compositely guided. The ceramics 1 and 2 are rigidly secured by heat resistant adhering or bonding. The sizes of the ceramics 1 and 2 can be regulated in response to the guiding type. Thus, the light nonpermeable ZnS ceramics permeate a radio wave and does not permeate infrared light. The light permeable ZnS ceramics have excellent infrared light permeability of 3-10mum of wavelength and excellent radio wave permeability. |
