The subject of the present invention is a machine for making a mitre cut. It consists firstly of a leaktight casing 1 with three mutually perpendicular output shafts moved by a single motor, two horizontal shafts 6, 7 each one receiving a circular saw blade 4, 5 and a vertical shaft with an electric clutch mechanism driving a pulley 10 over which is wound a cable which lowers the casing 1 which slides vertically on two posts 11, 12 and is held in the high position by pneumatic springs, next of a double press 15, 16 holding the moulding to be cut and of a length-measuring device with an adjustable stop piece 18 by virtue of a movable rule 20 the double graduation 21, 22 of which makes it possible to take account of the width of the moulding, finally of at least two cutters 24, 25 located under the working plane 3 and equipped with a cutting head including one or more cutters. It is intended to cut frame mouldings to a mitre and simultaneously to form at each end of the battens a milling intended to receive an assembly system. <IMAGE>
