PURPOSE:To obtain a solid electrolyte sheet having high ionic conductivity and low electronic conductivity by dispersing silver ion or copper ion conductive inorganic solid electrolyte powder having a specified particle size in an insulating polymer elastomer. CONSTITUTION:A solid electrolyte sheet consists of silver or copper ion conductive inorganic solid electrolyte powder whose 90wt.% or more has a particle size of 5mum or less and an insulating polymer elastomer, and 10-55vol.% electrolyte powder is uniformly dispersed in the polymer. As the copper ion conductive solid electrolyte, MCu4I2-XCl or CUI-Cu2-MoO3 glass is used. As the silver ion conductive solid electrolyte, M'AgI5 (M' is Rb or I), Ag3SI, or AgI-Ag2O-moO3 glass is used. A solid electrolyte battery using this solid electrolyte sheet has low self-discharge rate, good storage performance, wide operation range, and long cycle life. |
