The differentiation of the stopping time of the individual parts of material in the drying-plant occurs with all hitherto known heat-conducting building-ins, which negatively influences the material quality. This is removed by the fact that the hollow heated discs (8), attached to the hollow shaft (7), are gradually interrupted by at least one cut-out in the direction outlet (2) to inlet (1) of the material. The cut-out of the hollow heated disc (8) consists of the face leading wall (14), which is situated in the direction of the rotation of the hollow shaft (7) and forms an acute angle in each point of the intersection line with the side leading wall (17) of the hollow heated disc (8). The back wall (15) of the cut-out is displaced from the face leading wall and/or diverted in the direction of the rotation of the hollow shaft (7). The face leading walls (14) of the cut-outs of neighbouring heated discs (8) are gradually mutually axially slewed in the sense of slewing of the hollow shaft (7) in the direction inlet (1) to outlet (2) of the material.<IMAGE>
