<p>A pharmaceutical composition and a method of inhibiting human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is disclosed which comprises administering to an HIV infected patient a synergistic combination of 3'-azido-3'-deoxythymidine (AZT) and N-butyl deoxynojirimicin (N-butyl DNJ) in an amount which achieves antiviral efficacy.</p> |
