<p>PURPOSE:To directly designate a position with a picture by inputting position information by using a picture input device. CONSTITUTION:Picture information inputted from a TV camera 1 used as a picture input device is sent through a position information detecting section 2 which detects position information and a CPU 3 receives the data and displays a cursor indicating the position detected by the section 2 on a display device 4. When, for example, a picture on paper 6 is inputted, the position of a mark A indicating the position information is detected by the section 2 and the CPU 3 displays a cursor B indicating the position on the device 4. Detection of the position information is performed by calculating the distance from the boundary of the inputted picture and recognizing the mark indicating the position information as a pattern. Therefore, direct position designation can be performed by means of the picture.</p> |
