Vehicle fire prevention system - has temp. sensor to closed valve in fuel line and prevent ignition in tank

The safety device prevents the fuel contained in the fuel tank (2) of a motor vehicle from being ignited. A valve (5) is fitted in the fuel supply line between the tank and the engine and a sensing device (9) is fitted in the pipe near to the engine. When the sensing device (9) is subjected to a temp. above a defined level it actuates a device which closes the valve (5) and so prevents the fuel in the tank (2) from igniting. USE - Safety device for motor vehicle.
