A joystick (1) outputs simultaneously a plurality of operation signals (Ax, Ay) in response to a single movement of its handle (3). An interface (101) receives these signals (Ax, Ay) and combines them to produce the resultant vector on a coordinate system. Data analysis means (102) analyzes a signal (D1) outputted from the interface (101) and outputs a control signal (V1) for a plurality of axes. Pulse distribution means (103) outputs pulses to an X-axis control circuit and to a Y-axis control circuit in accordance with the signal (V1). In this manner, a mechanically moving portion can be operated easily by the joystick (1) and the operability can be improved. |
