The container which has a rectangular load-bearing base is designed to open completely at the side walls. At least one long side wall comprises at least one multi-part folding door and can be opened over its entire length. Each folding door (1) is attached to a corner section (21) of the container (2). When closing the opened folding doors which are provided with sealing strips (12,13) on their upper and lower sides, the doors are lifted and the sealing strips (12,13) of the doors are pushed and locked in from below into the sealing strips (24,24) which are provied on the upper and lower longitudinal supports (22,23) of the container. ADVANTAGE - Easier opening whilst guaranteed waterproof sealing when the doors are closed.
