PURPOSE:To transmit video signals of plural colors by one piece of video signal line and to execute the display by inputting the video signal of a color by a shift register. CONSTITUTION:Video signals 7a, 7b are video data of a 4-picture element portion of red and green of a first line 11 of a display unit A 10, respectively. In the same way, video signals 7c, 7d are video data of a 4-picture element portion of red and green of a first line 13 of a display unit B 12, respectively. These video signals 7a - 7d are inputted to each shift register 14 - 17 by a video synchronizing signal 7' and displayed by a line synchronizing signal 8a. In this case, since a screen synchronizing signal 9a is turned on, they are displayed on first lines 11, 13 of the respective units. Subsequently, by a line synchronizing signal 8b, color video data of a second line is displayed on a second line. Thereafter, the display of a 4-line portion is executed in the same way, one screen is completed, and next, the next screen display is started by a screen synchronizing signal 9b. In such a way, video signals of plural colors can be transmitted and displayed by one piece of video signal. |
