<p>PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction occurring and to improve operability by reproducing a still picture reproducing block and a sound reproducing block by always making the reproducing information of them conform to each other, and enabling the incorrect correspondence relation of contents to be detected immediately after loading a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Recording information on a magnetic tape 13 is compared with the identification information of a medium representing whether or not the contents of the recording information on the magnetic tape 13 and that on a magnetic disk 1 are the ones on confronting storage media. When the recording contents on both storage media are conformed to each other, reproduction is performed as it is, and when no correspondence between them is obtained and the magnetic tape 13 is not conformed to the magnetic disk 1 itself, an error signal representing the no correspondence of the contents of the recording information in both recording media is supplied. A control circuit 24, when receiving the error signal, operates an alarm device 25, and informs the occurrence of an error to a user by performing light emission by a LED, etc., or vocalization by a buzzer, etc.</p> |
