<p>An arrangement for preparing a sample of an odour substance prior to identification comprises inlet means (10) for receiving a gaseous medium including an odour substance to be identified, outlet means (20) for expelling the gaseous substance after substantial removal of the odour substance therefrom, a sample collector (1) having a vessel (19) for receiving the gaseous medium, the vessel (19) being arranged between the inlet means (10) and outlet means (20) and a heat exchanger unit connected with the sample collector, wherein the sample collector (1) is equipped with valves (11, 21) in the inlet means (10) and outlet means (20) for sealing the vessel (19) and with an adsorber unit (18) having adsorbing insert means (8) for collecting molecules forming a sample of the odour substance.</p> |
